CHAMP is an HIV service program that provides testing, education, linkage to care, and advocacy to reduce HIV incidence in diverse Black communities throughout Miami-Dade. To address the disproportionate burden of HIV among Miami’s diverse Black populations, our culturally-tailored HIV strategy utilizes community health workers (CHWs) to facilitate home-based rapid HIV testing (HBHRT) in non-traditional locations within South Florida’s Black neighborhoods.
We are an HIV/AIDS Medicaid specialty plan in Florida. Since 2010, we have been helping members living with HIV/AIDS get access to the care and services that will help them the most. Every member receives a personal treatment plan from a highly trained doctor. Members in case and disease management programs work with one of our case managers on a personal care plan to meet their health goals.We are an HIV/AIDS Medicaid specialty plan in Florida.
